Rev. Benjamin Perry is a Presbyterian minister and the Deputy Director of Communications & Marketing at Union Theological Seminary. He is also an organizer with the New York chapter of the Poor People’s Campaign: A National Call for Moral Revival. Previously he worked as an editor at Time Inc. An award-winning writer, his work focuses on the intersection of religion and politics. In addition to Bustle, his byline has appeared in outlets like Slate, The Huffington Post, Sojourners, and Motherboard and he has appeared on MSNBC, Al Jazeera, and NY1.
