Bustle presents our Beauty IRL package, a tribute to our readers' love of beauty and the way they use makeup and skin care to express themselves, to embrace their identities, and to self-soothe. Check out more of those stories here.
Despite thousands of new types of makeup, skin care, and hair care launching each, the majority of us have our all time favorite beauty products figured out. We might try a fancy new face mask or dabble in those futuristic-sounding hair vitamins from time to time, but there's nothing like finally finding the face lotion you can rely on to give your skin the perfect amount of moisture or the shampoo that flawlessly meshes with your unique hair texture. Putting on your favorite lipstick or brushing on eyebrow gel can even be a soothing ritual for some.
When we surveyed 1,800 Bustle readers about their beauty habits, nearly 40 percent of them said they wear makeup every day — and about 70 percent of them said they use up to 10 products on a daily basis. To some millennials, beauty and skin care can be a source of inspiration, relaxation, and self care. Here, 36 people share the five they absolutely can't live without.
@diosmioitskara
Let's start with my own #everydayfive: For skin care, I use the cult-favorite Magic Cream from Charlotte Tilbury and SkinCeutical's C E Ferulic Serum. I always do my brows — the Anastasia Beverly Hill Brow Wiz is my fave — and apply a highlighter, like Colourpop's Super Shock. Finally, I use one for the many Fresh Sugar Lip Treatments I have lying around the house, either on its own or to prep my lips for color.
