Audrey Just Sealed Her 'Big Brother' Fate

by Allison Piwowarski

She's become one of the most polarizing players on Big Brother 17 , and now Audrey has one foot out the door going into Thursday's live eviction show. Throughout the week, Audrey's safety has been back-and-forth, but now she's an official nominee and judging by the fight Clay and Shelli had with her, Audrey is sure to be going home on eviction night. The three houseguests have hit rough patches before, but Audrey's Big Brother fate was sealed when Clay and Shelli accused her of lying about basically everything in the house.

Shelli struggled with nominating Audrey on Big Brother, but Shelli needed to realize that Audrey is causing damage to Shelli's game and as long as Audrey is in the house, Shelli and Clay's game is in danger. And while it's sweet that Shelli was emotional about nominating Audrey — before the blow-up — Shelli really needs to get her head in the game and stop playing with her heart and start playing with her head... that is if she wants to win the game.

If you keep up with the feeds, then you know the drama that went down between Clay and Audrey, and then Audrey, Clay, Shelli, and a dash of Vanessa. But it's just too fun to not rehash. Audrey, who is extremely paranoid, said that she didn't say a particular lie to Clay — essentially, she played the game she's been playing the entire season: "I didn't say that." The lying didn't sit well with Clay, who brought the argument to the HOH room, which got Shelli and Vanessa involved. The King and Queen of Big Brother (Clay and Shelli) argued that Audrey lies about everything, even when she doesn't need to. Audrey refuted this, which seems kind of ridiculous because she's been caught in so many lies throughout the five weeks they've been playing the game.

Shelli has kept Audrey safe since Week 2 when Audrey was public enemy number one and Shelli sent Da'Vonne home. It wasn't necessarily in Shelli's best interest in the eyes of the entire house, but she stuck by her game play. Now that we're at Week 4, Shelli is realizing she can't keep protecting Audrey, especially when she's becoming such a huge target in the house. Audrey's lying and back-and-forth is threatening Shelli's game and no matter how much Shelli respects Audrey as a person, Audrey the player has gotta go.

Audrey seems to have a one-way ticket to the seat next to Julie Chen on Thursday. But as we know, things can change at the drop of a hat in this house.
