Allison is the former Deputy Entertainment Editor at Bustle, where she oversees the entire entertainment vertical, including movies, TV, and entertainment/celebrity news. Allison has been with Bustle since 2014. She has worked as a writer and podcast host for Bustle, as well as the TV Editor and Sr. News & Entertainment Editor at Romper, Bustle's sister site. Beyond BDG publications, her byline has also appeared in Cosmopolitan. Way back when she was 16, she worked at Limited, Too for a quick two weeks during peak Jonas Brothers. She has a bachelor's degree in Creative Writing from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
