It's that time of the summer when hair starts frizzing, happy hours start earlier, and a group of strangers move into a fake house to be watched for 13 weeks. This summer, Big Brother 17 welcomes Clay Honeycutt — and thirteen other houseguests — to the house, and thank the Big Brother gods. Clay, as you can tell, is an attractive, 23-year-old male who is from Texas. He will be competing for the $500,000 prize at the end of the season, but I already assume he's won something. (Hearts. He's won the hearts of many.)
So what is there to know about Clay Honeycutt — which is the perfect name for him — from Texas? First, he believes that “If you really want something, you’ll find a way. If you don’t, you’ll find an excuse.” Deep. I love the perseverance he's got going into this house. He's got his head in the game and the game in his head. But is that going to allow him to win? We'll have to see if he's all talk, because some people tend to talk a mean game, and then completely lose it the second they walk into the house.
Before you check out everything there is to know about Clay, though, check out Bustle’s Big Brother podcast, The Diary Room, which delves into everything you need to know about everyone inside the house. Listen to the latest episode below, and be sure to check out future episodes on Bustle’s SoundCloud page.
Now, here's what you need to know about Clay before he enters the house:
He Played Football In College
Clay attended Texas A&M where he played football. According to his "stats," Clay was a defensive back. He was also a heath major in college, graduating in only three-and-a-half years.
He's A Graduate Student
Now, Clay is moving on to graduate school at Texas A&M. He is getting his masters in sports management.
He Was A Model
I feel like this one comes with an enormous "DUH, he's a model," but it had to be said.
He's A Local Celebrity
This is a girl who bartended for Clay, and tweeted a photo of his signature. He's that popular.
He Knows How To Wear A Suit
Again, this guy is a celebrity amongst his peers.
He May Be Single
Sound the alarms! SOUND. THE. ALARMS.
People Already Love Him
And no, I didn't tweet this. Yet.
