Congratulations are in order for Mrs. Rhonda Lyon. Empire star Kaitlin Doubleday is engaged to Devin Lucien, the actress revealed Tuesday on Instagram. Doubleday and her fiancé announced the exciting news with some sweet photos that showcase just how happy they are to be getting married. The actress' first photo shows her and Lucien in Paris sharing some wine, all while showcasing her beautiful diamond engagement ring. She captioned the photo, "Cheers!!!!!!!! To the most memorable night of my life thus far @devinlucien."
Lucien also shared a photo via his Instagram, which shows a surprised Doubleday and a very happy Lucien, and captioned the pic, "SHE SAID YES!!!!!" It's also another great shot of her gorgeous ring. On Wednesday, Doubleday shared sweet pic of herself and Lucien riding bikes through Paris. Apparently, she couldn't help but take a photo of her ring and said, "Paris is so beautiful isn't it????" That it is.
Doubleday's Empire co-star and onscreen husband Trai Byers wished the two all the happiness in the world. Based on his comment, he is very happy for the couple. In an Instagram comment he wrote, "Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Congratulations Devin and Kaitie!!!!!!! This is epic!!! Love y'all. Show em how it's done!! So happy for you guys!!!"
According to Us Weekly, Lucien is a DJ who "got everything [for the proposal] in order," while Doubleday was busy in New York City with upfronts.
