Recurring sketches are always welcomed on Saturday Night Live , and the former porn star commercial sketch is no exception. On Saturday night, the former porn stars welcomed Chris Hemsworth, the SNL host of the night, to a commercial for Dolce & Gabbana, even though they definitely never once said the words "Dolce" or "Gabbana." And while Cecily Strong and Vanessa Bayer are always welcome to try and sell us luxury items, it was Chris Hemsworth that stole the sketch with his amazing comedic timing.
Hemsworth had already proved during the episode that he had a great sense of comedic timing, but his role as a former porn star completely sold it. In the sketch, Hemsworth played "Dong Juan De Dark Hole," (Oh, how I squirm even typing those words), and just like his co-stars, Mr. De Dark Hole was completely unaware of what was going on in the commercial. Part of the sketch that makes it so funny is the fact that no one has any clue as to what they're doing there.
Even though the sketch was for Dolce & Gabbana perfume, the former porn stars called it "Dolkey Gababa," "douche and go bye-bye," and "douche and go bananas." Hemsworth, who delivered the latter two of those versions of Dolce & Gabbana, completely stole the sketch with his De Dark Hole. Just like his predecessors, Hemsworth would enter the sketch too early, with the line "Did someone say 'What's that smell?'," while scooting out of frame on what looked to be a razor scooter from the early 2000s.
The last sketch of the night really solidified Hemsworth's talent as a comedian. He not only was able to perform comedically on a physical level (the man knows how to scooter!), but his comedic timing and delivery was one of the best guest stars on the former porn stars sketch to date.
