Where will you be when everything falls apart? That's the question the trailer for San Andreas is asking, at least. Set for a spring 2014 release, San Andreas stars Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Paul Giamatti who are fighting to survive when the San Andreas fault-line splits into two, sending a ripple of catastrophic events through California. Supposedly, if this should ever happen, "You need to get out, and I mean now. Because even though this is happening here in California, you will feel it on the east coast," as Giamatti's earthquake expert warns civilians. So just keep that in mind if and when this actually happens, because Giamatti (the little blue man from Big Fat Liar — and many other things, I know) warned you.
The movie, which is paired with a wonderfully terrifying version of "California Dreamin," also stars familiar faces like Alexandra Daddario, Carla Gugino, Colton Haynes (which you most certainly know from one CW show or another), and even Kylie Minogue. Whether you love end of the world movies or just movies where Johnson attempts to save mankind from destruction (so a lot of his movies, right?), San Andreas looks like a CGI fans dream come true. This groundbreaking film (get it?) opens on May 29 and is sure to shake things up for summer movies.
