Oh. My. God. Maisie Williams, you are my spirit animal. Obviously, Arya is my favorite character in the A Song of Fire And Ice books, and Williams perfectly embodies her spunkiness on screen in the Game of Thrones TV series. Then, I discovered her Vine, full of hilariously quirky videos and realized that I needed to become best friends with Williams because I would never, ever be nearly as cool as the 17-year-old star. This fact was further solidified Saturday night when Maisie Williams wore a dress made entirely out of recycled book pages to the Entertainment Weekly's Comic-Con Celebration.
This isn't the first time Williams has rocked this graphic novel gown. She first sported the Ryan Jude Novelline design while judging the Out of Print fashion show at Bookbarn International in June of this year. The look features panels from X-Men, Sandman, Sailor Moon, and, of course, some Game of Thrones pages for the belt. On the carpet for the event, she told reporters that she was hoping to make as much a statement as Angelina Jolie's infamous leg-out dress. "I'm hoping for a new Angelina Jolie thing, and people are gonna Photoshop their faces in my dress," she said. I'm sure the Internet can take care of that for you, girl.
Oh, and by the way, if you're at SDCC this year, you might have run into Williams already and not even realized. She's bouncing around in a Spiderman mask, according to her Instagram.
Too cool to handle.
