A celeb whose work I've recently become obsessed with all over again, Rosario Dawson attended the White House Correspondents' dinner wearing a floor-length black dress, it's quite a departure from the nurse's scrubs we've gotten accustomed to seeing her rock in Daredevil, but falls right in line with her other recent red carpet looks.
This isn't Dawson's first WHCD rodeo: She also attended the annual event in 2003, 2008, 2011, and 2012. All four times she's stuck with stunning, satin-y, floor-length gowns in bold colors like lime green and poppy. For 2016, Dawson decided to update a classic LBD with sheer panels and a low-cut neckline, instead.
In addition to her recent TV stints, Dawson has been especially vocal during the 2016 presidential race, showing her support for Democratic candidate Bernie Sanders because when it comes to fashion and politics, she's not afraid to let her personality shine through. She knows just how to keep it classy on and off the red carpet, and still manages to spice up a black dress, even though it's not the first time we've seen a fancy black gown grace the red carpet. Between her political savvy and her dressing skills, Dawson owned this year's WHCD.
No one wears a black dress as well as Dawson does, as far as I'm concerned.
