As if celebrating the heart-spackled holiday itself wasn't sweet enough, Starbucks has just released a trio of Valentine's Day drinks to make the day even more memorable. After all, the way to any woman's heart is through coffee — at least in my case, anyway — especially when she learns what's in a Starbucks Molten Chocolate Frappucino. I mean, call me crazy, but any caffeinated beverage with "molten chocolate" in the name is enough to make me swoon.
You're going to want to strike while the iron is hot, though. Starbucks' new Valentine's trio is a limited-time offer, and will only be available from Feb. 8 (as in, go forth right this minute and get one) until Valentine's Day, Feb. 14. While all three beverages cater to the chocolate lovers of the world — so, basically, all of us — they come in three distinct styles. There's the Molten Chocolate Latte, the Molten Hot Chocolate, and my personal favorite, the Molten Chocolate Frappucino. Confession: I'm a cold coffee kind of gal even in the dead of winter.
But you don't have to be a cold coffee aficionado to fall in love with the Molten Chocolate Frappucino. Let's talk about the insanely delicious-sounding ingredients that go into making this dreamboat of a drink.
1. Coffee
A coffee base gives this Frappucino its kick. How else are you gonna get through the day, right?
2. Rich Mocha Sauce
Mmmm, rich mocha sauce. If this doesn't put a little more pep in your step, I don't know what will.
3. Chocolaty Chips
Because chocolaty chips make everything better, especially when they're blended right in.
4. Milk
This drink is shaping up to be pretty darn sweet. Nothing like a little milk to keep things balanced!
5. Ice
This is a Frappucino, so of course all of these delicious ingredients are blended into a frothy slush. Also known as the nectar of divinity.
6. Mocha And Espresso-Infused Whipped Cream
How is this a thing that hasn't been in my life before this point? Whipped cream WITH MOCHA AND ESPRESSO IN IT. Yes. Just yes. So much yes.
7. Espresso Mocha Drizzle
If you thought your heart was aflutter before, hear this: The Molten Chocolate Frappucino is finished off with an espresso mocha drizzle. You may commence swooning now.
