When I first saw the roster for Ben's season of The Bachelor and had to use two hands to count the Lauren/Laura variations in the cast, I had a few choice words for the producers of the show. How was I supposed to keep all of the women straight if they had the same name? Luckily, as the season progresses, each Lauren has stepped into her own, making it much easier to differentiate who is who. We know Lauren B., a frontrunner this season, but then there's Lauren H. on The Bachelor who we haven't gotten to know much of, yet. But, that doesn't mean that we should just skip over her.
I wasn't thinking much of Lauren H. until Week 3 of The Bachelor, when she made a comment regarding Jubilee's "attitude" and how Ben wants a wife who is going to get along with the other soccer moms, alluding to the fact that Jubilee is not that. So, that got my attention. And not in a good way. First of all, it seems like Lauren H. was just projecting some feelings of jealousy onto Jubilee for getting a one-on-one date with Ben. She might want to step back and realize that the reason Jubilee wasn't "getting along" with the other women is because they were being extremely critical of her. I wouldn't want to get along with them either, Jubilee.
So, what is Lauren H.'s deal? Is she a bully? Maybe she's insecure in her relationship with Ben and doesn't know how to handle it? Perhaps she didn't realize the harm behind her comment.
