Charrisse Is Bringing A Lot Of Heart To 'RHOP'

by Allison Piwowarski

The Real Housewives franchise is adding a brand new city to its arsenal, and the it already has a ton of promise. The Real Housewives of Potomac star Charrisse Jackson Jordan is just one of the stars of the new city franchise, and she's definitely going to make a splash. You might be thinking, does Bravo really need another city to extend the franchise to? The immediate answer to that is "Hells yes." We can always use a little more drama and glam in our lives courtesy of Housewives, and Potomac (and Charrisse) are going to supply just that.

According to her Bravo bio, Charrisse is a "dedicated wife, mother, and socialite whose reputation precedes her in the elite Potomac social circle." If that's not a description you want describing you, I don't know what is. Charrisse might also be our go-to party planner, as it is mentioned that she is "known for extravagant parties and events." Basically, she seems like the perfect package for Real Housewives of Potomac. But, besides the glitz and glam of shopping, socializing, and traveling around the world, Charrisse is also going to bring a lot of heart to the show.

Here's what you need to know about Charrisse Jackson Jordan on RHOP.

She Has A Passion For Giving Back

It's obvious that Charrisse has a big heart. She is the former president of Behind the Bench, the National Basketball Wives Association. She has also spent her time helping charities like Knock Out Abuse Against Women, Men Against Breast Cancer, N Street Village raise a ton of money.

She Has Two Kids

Charrisse, who doesn't do nannies ("period"), has two children: Jackson, 17, and Skylar, 15. It is obvious from the photo above of her kids spending time at a women's shelter that she has instilled her good heart in her children.

She Has A Unique Marriage Style

Charrisse has been married to former NBA player Eddie Jordan for 18 years. He played for teams like the Nets, Lakers, and Trail Blazers. He was also the coach for the 76ers, Wizards, Kings. He is now the head coach of the Rutgers Scarlet Knights men’s basketball team. Something that fans of RHOP may note is that Charrisse and her husband have lived apart (Eddie in New Jersey for Rutgers) for the past three years, something she attributes to the success of their marriage.

She Treats Herself

While Charrisse loves to give back, she also seems to believe in the wonderful holiday "Treat Yo 'Self." Honestly, if her life is dedicated to helping others, she totally deserves it.

She Loves The RHOP Women (For Now)

It's nice to see the women getting along in this photo that Charrisse shared on Instagram. But, something tells me that things might not always be so peachy for the women. We'll have to watch to find out just how dramatic Potomac can get.
