Makeover alert! At the 2015 American Music Awards, Gigi Hadid debuted a bob haircut in a transformation that we maybe should have seen coming. The Victoria's Secret Angel is known for having long, blonde curls, but lately she's been hitting red carpets with her hair pinned up in a sort of faux-bob situation. Perhaps she was mentally preparing for a big chop? The final result is definitely dramatic, but seriously stunning on Hadid.
Update: During her interview with Giuliana Rancic, Hadid hinted that the do might not be real. "You'll have to check back tomorrow to see if it's really short," Hadid said. "There are tricks of the trade."
The chin-length 'do proves that cutting some inches off your hair can definitely make it look thicker. Of course, Hadid's long waves were gorgeous, but check out the volume on this new shorter look! It's taking a lot of self control for me to resist reaching for the scissors.
The short haircut was definitely the focus of Hadid's look on the AMAs, but let's not overlook how fantastic her outfit is, too. In head-to-toe white (what was that old rule about Labor Day again?) Hadid is giving serious holiday party outfit inspiration — you know, as long as you live somewhere that hits about 75 degrees on New Year's Eve. Is it too early to call her one of the best dressed of Award Show Season? Whatever, I'm doing it.
Fingers crossed that this bob is for real, because it's fabulous.
