OK, you guys. It's happening, despite what the haters said about finding love on television. TV love is real so delete Tinder, Bumble, and Hinge and get yourself on any dating show. The proof is in the pudding, people. It's also in the engagement photos. Bachelor in Paradise couple Jade and Tanner have released their engagement pictures to the public, and trust me when I say: relationship goals. Relationship goals are when you and your S.O. are shown in a new dawn light, dressed to the nines, and holding a really cute dog (or cat, I suppose). Tanner and Jade have all of that. They have it figured out.
The engagement photos — the album can be seen in full on Jade's website — feature Jade and Tanner, and dog Pippa, looking fresh, dewy, and very much in love in multiple scenarios that I guess in love couples find themselves in at some point in their relationship. I have yet to lay on a soft throw blanket in the middle of a grassy field while wearing a evening dress, but I guess that just means I haven't found the one. Next.
In all sincerity, the couple's photos are truly beautiful. Plus, I can't help but get excited that it seems like they're really going to do it. "It" being the marriage thing. At this point, I feel couples who have lasted a few months past their season of the dating show fade away, but Janner is still going strong. This could potentially be the second wedding for Bachelor in Paradise. Two marriages in two seasons is not a bad track record. It's actually better than Bachelor/Bachelorette but who's counting.
Now, we just have to wait until the two get married and so we can feast our eyes on those photos. Fingers crossed it involves them both being shoulder pressed by Chris Harrison. Just because I think that would be delightful.
