There's nothing I like more than having options when I'm eating; who doesn't love being able to pick and choose from several different menu items, rather than sticking with just one? That's why I'm so pumped that Pizza Hut released the Triple Treat Box, which allows you to get two pizzas, a side item, and dessert for just $19.99 for the holiday season. Yum? Yum.
The box itself is a triple-decker affair, as you may expect from the name, and has a drawer-like appearance. Inside those drawers, you'll find two medium, one-topping pizzas, an order of either breadsticks or flavor sticks, and a Hershey's Ultimate Chocolate Chip Cookie (which is a whopping eight inches in diameter). All of that for just under $20 sounds like a great deal to me! It's like Pizza Hut is giving us all a holiday gift with this new offering.
That is exactly the purpose behind the idea, as VP of marketing Jared Drinkwater says that Pizza Hut wants "to help make every day feel like a holiday." "That's why we created the Triple Treat Box. It's a delicious, easy meal to share with family and friends, and while it's always fun to get pizza, getting pizza in a special gift-wrapped box can add even a little more excitement to pizza night," he said in a press release.
As far as the pizzas go, you can choose from basically every customizable option known to humankind. Toppings range from Peruvian cherry peppers, to pineapple, and even seasoned pork; the crust comes in 10 different flavors including Honey Sriracha and Garlic Buttery Bread; and for sauces, you can take your pick from Classic Marinara, Premium Crushed Tomato, Creamy Garlic Parmesan, Honey Sriracha, Barbeque, and Buffalo. You can even get complimentary drizzles, flavored in Balsamic, Honey Sriracha, Barbeque, and Buffalo.
Holy pizza! That is a lot to choose from. I think it's safe to say that you won't run out of options when eating from Pizza Hut's Tripple Treat Box. And we haven't even gotten into the flavor sticks or Hershey's cookie yet!
Speaking of, here are your options for the sticks: You can choose to get the classic Pizza Hut breadsticks, which are also the most popular side item the chain has, or opt for flavor sticks instead, which come in the Hut Favorite, Fiery Red Pepper, Toasted Cheddar, Toasted Parmesan, Toasted Asiago, and Honey Sriracha flavors. If you're also impressed with the customization options in this category, Drinkwater is confident that the Hut has the most options available of any pizza chain. "No pizza company can match the customization and flavor options available at Pizza Hut," he said.
Finally, for dessert you can munch on the Hershey's Ultimate Chocolate Chip Cookie, which is cut into eight individual slices and is loaded with an average of 165 Hershey's semi-sweet chocolate chips per cookie. How's that for a nice, sweet ending to a savory meal?
