The Bachelor in Paradise cast is going to add a new face, once again throwing off the already established dynamics in paradise. Remember Samantha from Chris Soules' season of The Bachelor ? Yeah, neither do I. Supposedly, Samantha was one of the lovely ladies vying for Chris Soules' heart earlier in 2015. She didn't make it to the end, and she might not have made a huge impression on fans, but Bachelor in Paradise might change all of that, since Samantha already has a bachelor in paradise (Joe) hoping to woo her.
If you don't remember much about Samantha, it was because the poor girl fell victim to group dates week after week. The fashion designer — yeah, she's really cool — only went on four dates with Chris in the five weeks she was on the show. The first week she didn't get a date — brutal — but she came in strong participating in some of the most memorable dates of the entire season (can you say camping with Kelsey Poe?).
Going into Samantha's entrance to paradise, you might find yourself needing a refresher of all Samantha's greatest moments. The list isn't long, but that doesn't mean things won't change around for her once she's in paradise.
She Went On The Farm Date
One of the epic group dates Samantha took part in was the "Farmer's Wife" challenge that Jimmy Kimmel put together. Samantha, we learned through her not-so-outstanding performance, probably wasn't meant for the empty land of Arlington, Iowa. But outside of the 416 people that live there, who is?
She Was There During The Camping Date
If you look closely, you can see Samantha in the background. That pretty much sums up the extent of her presence in this episode. I don't necessarily blame Samantha for the lack of editing in her favor, I blame people like Kelsey who showed us that you just have to scare enough people to make the nice girl from Indiana (Samantha) an after thought in the producers' minds.
She Went White River Rafting (Which Jade Won)
I'll be the first one to say it; Samantha got the short end of the stick when it comes to dates. All of the dates she participated in were so group-y that girlfriend didn't get her chance to shine. On the river rafting date, which Jade might or might not have contracted hypothermia, no one was going to walk away from that date with more of Chris' heart other than Jade.
So Samantha doesn't have the most exciting list of moments on The Bachelor, but that doesn't mean she can't be the standout star on Bachelor in Paradise. I'm rooting for Samantha, simply to accumulate more than 10 minutes of camera time.
