Often on The Bachelor franchise, contestants that really have the makings of a good TV personality are sent home too soon because their fearless leader isn't feeling the connection. That's what I think happened to Dan Cox, a new Bachelor in Paradise star, who was sent home early on during Desiree Hartsock's season of The Bachelorette, and is really only remembered as "the guy who ripped his pants." (Hey Dan, it happens to the best of us.) But, now, Dan is back in Paradise and getting a second shot at love. Will it work out this time, or will he be left with a high tailor bill for any clothing emergencies that may take place this season?
When Dan was on Desiree's season, he didn't really make an impression quickly enough to stick around. I won't hold that against him, but I'm hopeful that he'll put himself out there on Bachelor in Paradise, at least so we have something to watch. He looks like a Disney prince, which really isn't all that rare for the Bachelor franchise, so let's hope he can find his Disney princess counterpart (I'm rooting for Ashley I., since they'd look so good together).
So what has Dan been up to since Desiree's season? Here's what you need to know about Dan when he joins the Bachelor in Paradise cast.
He's Been Working On His Fitness
It's The Bachelor franchise, of course he's been working up a sweat.
He's Been Spending Time With Kids
Not a bad look for him, if I do say so myself.
He Rescued A Dog
So far, Dan knows just the right type of photos to post on Instagram — fitness, a baby, and a dog.
He's Been Traveling
Probably because he didn't get to do much of it while on The Bachelorette since he got sent home early. *shade*
He's Been Hanging Out With Bachelor Nation Alums
Don't worry, as Juan Pablo says, "Eees, OK."
He's Been Spending Time With Family
Got to get as much face time in with the family before shipping off to Paradise and maybe finding love, right? Let's just hope Dan sticks around this time.
