Gigi Hadid Styled A Swimsuit From Her Frankies Bikinis Collab With Low-Rise Pants
This is a genius trick, ngl.
Stepping out to celebrate her Frankies Bikinis collaboration at the brand’s Soho store on Monday night, Gigi Hadid made a case for wearing swimwear in the streets of NYC. I, for one, am here for it.
The supermodel — who teamed up with longtime friend Francesca Aiello of Frankies Bikinis on a dreamy collection — opted to wear one of the cottagecore-inspired pieces to her launch party. For the big event, Hadid chose a blue and white, toile print one-piece dubbed the Fawn Ruffle One-Piece. According to Hadid, the doe and fawn print featured on this swimsuit was inspired by the special mother/daughter relationship she shares with her one-year-old, Khai Hadid Malik.
Over the suit, Hadid layered on an ultra cropped white shirt with long sleeves and matching cream-colored, low-rise pants (because Y2K). Thanks to the barely-there hemlines of both her top and bottoms, the swimsuit took the starring role. Adding pointy, off-white slingback pumps from By Far and a blue Louis Vuitton monogrammed trunk bag, the look was an avant-garde one, for sure.
While the first drop of the Gigi x Frankies Bikinis collaboration is already shoppable, the rest of the collection will be made available tomorrow on frankiesbikinis.com.
In addition to the toile one piece Hadid modeled last night, the collection includes classic triangle bikinis, and tankinis, as well as bodysuits, cardigans, and accessories — including hats and headscarves. My suggestion? Run don’t walk before everything sells out.
