Florence Pugh put the 2024 Golden Globes red carpet to shame in a dazzling red number of her own. A noted advocate of freeing the nipple, she did just that in a sheer, crimson gown covered in floral appliqués — a gown fit for an awards show presenter.

Florence’s Risqué Gown

Pugh has been wearing Valentino, a label she endorses, to almost every awards show over the past couple of years — and the dynamic fashion duo have never missed. At the 81st Golden Globe Awards, Pugh was clad in yet another look from the Italian label, and it’s easily a new high point in their formidable style streak.

On Sunday, Jan. 7, the Oppenheimer star donned a custom crimson showstopper. As is her habit, the ensemble was utterly daring. The decadent, floor-length gown featured slinky spaghetti straps, a plunging neckline, and a smattering of rosettes.

Its most risqué feature, however, was in its diaphanous fabrication. The see-through tulle exposed Pugh’s matching red undies and allowed her to bare nip, a now-signature move.

Pugh further merchandised her look with a diamond-encrusted necklace, simple drop earrings, and her signature septum ring.

Her Edgy Faux Hawk

As fearless as Pugh is sartorially, she’s equally unafraid of taking beauty risks, switching hairdos about as often as her clothes. In the past year alone, she’s donned pink buzzcuts, faux bangs, and everything in between.

For the Golden Globes, the actor switched it up with a platinum blonde faux hawk, an unexpected and edgy complement to her romantic dress.

Another look for the books.
