Here Are The Best Red Carpet Looks From The 2022 Emmy Awards
TV’s biggest night is back.
The VMAs, Fashion Week, and Emmys — oh my! September has been booked and busy with every fashionable event you can imagine, and the 2022 Emmy Awards have fully surpassed style expectations. The carpet has seen sequins, trains, tulle, corsets, cutouts, and more. There were even statement moments, like Emily Heller’s “kick me” sign, and director J. Smith-Cameron’s clutch with “bans off our bodies” printed on it.
Kicking off the evening early, gold carpet host Laverne Cox stunned in a classic Jean Paul Gaultier silhouette complete with a cone bra. As the celebs rolled in, the host and her co-host Loni Love were left gooped and gagged over the fashions, from Zendaya in Valentino and Amanda Seyfried in Armani to Quinta Brunson in Dolce & Gabbana — and that was all before Lizzo hit the stage in a billowing Giambattista Valli gown.
The evening was filled with speeches that had me crying in the club and looks that had viewers losing it. It was a night to remember after finally returning to an in-person show following a virtual ceremony last year. The stars were ready to show out and fully understood the assignment of the red carpet — or, rather, the gold carpet.
Take a look through some of the best dresses, suits, and more from the Emmy Awards below.
Chrissy Teigen and John Legend
Teigen wore a sequin gown by Naeem Khan, while husband John Legend wore a textured cream suit and black bowtie.
Amanda Seyfried
In a sultry, soft pink Armani Privé gown, only Cartier earrings could elevate this look more.
Issa Rae
A classic black and white moment for Rae was absolutely the right choice.
Julia Garner
Cutouts are definitely making a splash this season, and Garner’s Gucci dress was no exception.
Sandra Oh
The Killing Eve bae wearing a royal purple sequin suit with a deep V by Rodarte? Yes, pls.
Ayo Edebiri
Breakout star of The Bear wore a baby pink mini dress with a cape train by Giambattista Valli Haute Couture for her first Emmys.

A bold shoulder, a crop top, a peplum skirt, and plisse. Need I say more?

Apparently sticky taped for the gods, Brosnahan looked like a goddess herself.

The Emmy Award winner wore custom Dolce & Gabbana.
