Doja Cat Rocked An Utterly See-Through Dress At The 2023 MTV VMAs
It’s officially spooky season.
Doja Cat is quickly becoming one of the biggest champions of freeing the nipple. After rocking nip-forward ’fits on magazine covers and at New York Fashion Week, the “Get into It” singer took the spicy look to the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards on Tuesday night.
To walk the VMAs pink carpet, Doja slipped into a complicated net of a dress, which included a webbed train that trailed behind her. The gauzy knitted number by Monse closely resembled a spider web — a fitting look, being that the rapper’s current Instagram profile pic is a spider.
Much like a real spider web, her dress included countless holes of varying sizes, which meant it was utterly see-through and fully exposed her barely-there beige thong. She paired the look with pointy slingback pumps, complete with lucite heels that further added to the transparent aesthetic.
The cherry on top of an already fantastic getup: the spider earrings clinging to each ear. Though Halloween is still weeks away, the spooky ensemble felt befitting of the upcoming season.
Doja always conceptualizes her ensembles from head to toe (see: the all-over crimson look she wore during Paris Couture Week) — so it made sense that even her beauty look gave major arachnid vibes. Against her white eyeshadow, her inky “spider lashes” completely popped.
Looks like spooky season has officially begun.
