Chrissy Teigen Dyed Her Hair Pastel Pink, & It's Ridiculously Cute

Who ever said you can’t change your look during quarantine? Chrissy Teigen’s pink hair is proof you can switch up your hair/makeup/mani style whenever your heart desires — pandemic year included.

Over the past few months, the supermodel, TV host, and author has done a lot to her appearance. Teigen’s gotten a number of tattoos (like the one on her wrist and the piece along her spine), chopped her hair into a chic bob, donned a silvery-blue wig, and — as of today — is currently rocking pastel pink strands. Although she experimented with the cotton candy hue with a wig back in February, Teigen’s actually dyed her hair this time.

On her Instagram stories, Teigen posted a series of videos documenting her hair change. After a selfie where the star was decked out in highlight foils, the big reveal came earlier today: Teigen proudly showing off her pastel pink color change in an updo with side bangs. She tagged hairstylists Irinel de León and Tracey Cunningham, the latter of which reposted and dubbed the shade “city ballet pink.” Clearly Teigen loved her pink wig so much she called for a dye job to wear the playful shade via her natural strands.

Celebs have been all about rainbow-colored hair lately: Hilary Duff transformed her blonde into a light, mermaid-esque blue, Naomi Osaka embraced bright pink, and Demi Lovato got a pale fuchsia-colored pixie cut. At the beginning of the year, Bustle spoke with top stylists for their predictions on 2021’s hottest hair shades, and baby pink topped the list — so it comes as no surprise that trendsetter Teigen joined the colorful hair club.
