Niellah studied English Literature & Creative Writing at Aberystywth University. She is a founding member of gal-dem, a publication amplifying the voices of people of colour from marginalised genders, and currently works as the magazine's Lifestyle Editor. Niellah has written for a number of publications including The Independent, Time Out London, The Guardian, and Vice, and has published essays in two books: 'I Will Not Be Erased' and 'In The Garden'. Niellah was born and raised in South London. She loves to cook, garden, and go to the theatre, she is also an 'Eastenders' super fan and neurodivergent.
