Justine Knight
Justine Knight is a journalist, writer, stylist and Bustle contributor with over 15 years’ experience within the beauty industry. Her journey towards becoming a beauty editor started with a degree in sociology and media from Leeds university and studying communications at London College of Fashion, but was really shaped whilst working on the frontline of beauty retail where she first learnt about skin care as self-care; applying bronzer with cotton wool balls (hygiene!), and most importantly: how to talk beauty with people from every walk of life.
It was these experiences which inspired a writing career that has seen her cover health, beauty and wellness for titles including ELLE, Red, Psychologies, Stylist, The Evening Standard, Fabulous and Boots Health & Beauty, as well as working behind-the-scenes for brands ranging from household names to indie startups.
