Previously, she was a Lifestyle writer at Bustle, where she wrote about all things astrology, food, tech, home, and social media.
Jillian graduated from Emerson College in 2019 with a bachelor's degree in Media Arts Production and a concentration in Writing for Film and Television. Her BDG journey began in October 2021 when she joined the team as a Trending News and Experiences writer for Elite Daily, covering everything from Starbucks drink reviews to the latest iPhone release. Prior to that, she worked in Scripted Development at Refinery29, as a social media manager, and as an SEO blog writer.
