She's also covered a lot of theories regarding those two franchises and gets sent anything Brie Larson or Supergirl related. Alani's work has been writing for BDG since 2017, first appearing in Elite Daily, then Bustle as an entertainment intern in 2018. She currently freelances for The A.V. Club's news section, INSIDER, and Refinery29. Alani received her journalism degree from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University, where she also double-majored in history.
