Corinne Has Time Left On 'The Bachelor'

by Lindsay Denninger
Rick Rowell/ABC

Corinne may not be getting along with the women on Nick Viall’s season of The Bachelor, but that’s fine, because it’s not what she’s there for. Corinne is there to win Nick’s heart, and it sure seems like she’s getting what she wants. Her complaints to Nick got Taylor sent home on the two-on-one date, and her bad dancing and napping and bounce house humping seem to be winning Nick over… maybe. Will Nick send Corinne home on The Bachelor?

As I mentioned, Nick sent Taylor packing, but, from the looks of the previews, Taylor comes back to argue Nick’s decision and the fact that Corinne spun her own alternative facts about her argument with Taylor. That’s all well and good that Taylor wants to defend herself, but it will not, and I repeat, will not, matter a fig. The producers of The Bachelor like Corinne because they know she’s ratings gold. Nick likes Corinne, because she’s sexy and fun, even if she’s flighty and doesn’t know how to do her own laundry. This combination means that Corinne will always stay on the show over Taylor. Taylor is logical and analytical and that just doesn’t translate well for people wanting to watch you on television.

You can call me cynical if you want. I've seen enough seasons of this show to know. Honestly, I think Nick knows how to play the reality television game, and he knows that people will want to watch Corinne on The Bachelor whether they love her or they hate her. She draws people in. That means that Corinne has a few more weeks on The Bachelor, whether we all like it or not.
