This could really be happening, you guys. Justin Timberlake might release a new album in 2017. And, to be honest with you, I seriously can't contain my excitement. If this is, in fact, a real thing, 2017 will certainly pan out to be an epic year for the 36-year-old singer and the entire music industry in general.

If you're a fan, it's certainly no secret that Timberlake is gearing up for what could potentially be an epic Oscars performance this weekend. Not to mention that the former *NSYNC frontman is also nominated in the Best Original Song category for his song "Can't Stop The Feeling!" from the 2016 movie, Trolls. This news, coupled with a possible new album in the near future, is definitely just way too much for words.

Hysteria set in after Timberlake let the cat out of the bag back in Nov. of last year when he hinted at plans to release new music and revealed to Variety that he's been in the studio working with super producer, Pharrell Williams. I really tried not to get too excited, because, from the sounds of it, in true Timberlake fashion, he planned on taking his sweet old time releasing the much-awaited album. He explained, "I have no idea when I’ll put it out, though... I’ll put it out when it’s done, when it feels right.”

Ugh, I guess I don't even have to tell you what a let down that was. However, it appears that things may be starting to look up since he did that interview three months ago. We're beginning to see the father of one reemerge a bit more lately, and all signs seem to be pointing to Timberlake gearing up to reclaim his place in the musical spotlight after his brief hiatus following the 2013 success of his 20/20 Experience album.

Let the church say amen. It looks like my prayers have finally been answered.

I don't know about you guys, but I'm totally here for this. Four years was way too long.
