As if 2016 wasn't already a huge year for the star, 2017 is looking even better for Kylie Jenner, who made the Forbes' 30 Under 30 List. She's accompanied by other huge stars like James Charles and Simone Biles, making this a pretty big achievement. Why did the 19-year-old make the list, you ask? If you think the answer is just about her Lip Kits, then think again. While her cosmetics brand was by far her most major accomplishment, there are a few other reasons why she made the cut.

Jenner might have started her makeup empire back in 2015, but 2016 was the year that it really took off. Odds are that you're probably familiar with her Lip Kits, Kyshadow Palettes, and Kyliners already, which is a big reason why she made the list. But it turns out there was a few other reasons the 19-year-old landed among the 29 other member. And no, I'm not talking about her selfie skills or her deal with Puma, although neither of those things hurt either.

According to Forbes, sources suggest Jenner's lip glosses may have earned up to seven figures in the past year. A rep for Kylie Cosmetics confirmed that the Gloss has actually earned upwards of eight figures. There's no doubt in my mind that a major reason for that level of success is her Glosses video, which she surprise launched on her Instagram in summer 2016. Her branding skill are absolutely incredible. She sells out of every single launch, sometimes within minutes, which proves that she's a serious force in the beauty world. Heck, Jenner even launched her very first Kylie Pop Up Shop this year after being an online brand for only a year.

Jenner's beauty success wasn't the only reason that she landed on the list though. According to Forbes, the 19-year-old also was a major force in fashion as well. This year she started a fashion label with her big sister Kendall Jenner. That's in addition to them having their own line at Pac Sun as well. Not to mention her most recent fashion endeavor — The Kylie Shop — where she sells everything from underwear to sweatshirts with her name and face on them.
