The world of professional wrestling meets the Bachelorette in this new season. As ABC gears up to kick off Season 13 of the wildly popular dating series, fans finally get to meet all of the guys vying at a chance for Rachel Lindsay's heart. So, just who is Kenny on the Bachelorette?
The 35-year-old pro-wrestler, whose full name is Kenny King, is certainly no stranger to reality television having appeared on the second season of the original WWE seriesTough Enough. More recently, King has appeared as part of the Rebellion team with the Ring of Honor Wrestling promotion. In addition to his work inside the ring, the athlete also is said to have moonlighted as a Chippendale dancer in his past, so he likely will have a sexy side to show the newest Bachelorette when things kick off this Monday night.
In his contestant biography on the Bachelorette website, King reveals that he's also a father, sweetly listing his daughter as the person that he loves the most in the world. "She is literally my reason for living. She makes my life better," he shared.
The 6-foot-tall athlete additionally mentions that the person that'd most like to have lunch with would be Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. I mean, I guess they would have a lot talk about — you know, muscles and wrestling and stuff.
Despite his tough exterior, the display of love that Kenny shows for his daughter proves that this wrestler has a softer side that he may be ready to share with Rachel during his time in the Bachelorette house.
The recent debut of all 31 of Lindsay's contestants proved to be the most diverse group to ever appear on the dating series. Lindsay made history in February of this year when she became the first African-American to be cast in the show's lead role. This most recent cast features the largest number of non-white contestants in show's combined run over the last 15 years, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
I can't wait to see what kind of impression Kenny will make on Rachel and the Bachelorette fandom.
