'Bachelorette' Contestant Bryan Already Stands Out

ABC

When ABC's The Bachelorette premieres May 22, audiences will be introduced to the men vying for Rachel Lindsay's attention. One of these standout Bachelorette contestants is Bryan, a chiropractor from Florida. Interestingly, Bryan is 37, which makes him one of oldest contestants on The Bachelorette.

One of the three contestants representing Miami, Bryan works for The Accident and Injury Team of Miami Lakes as the treating doctor. On a show that is part love and part competition, it will be interesting to see if Bryan has what it takes to win Rachel Lindsay's heart. He could be a guy just looking for love or he could be a guy trying to seal his fate as a memorable reality TV star.

Rachel has been candid about her expectations for the show. In an interview with People magazine, Rachel said, "You know, I said this on the show all the time, but I just like to keep it 100 and keep it real. I figure if I just stay true to myself, it’ll be a successful show.”

And, even before the show has premiered, Bryan has found a way to stand out against the competition thanks to some unique answers in his Bachelorette bio. Season 13 will decide his fate with Rachel, but, for now, here are a few things to know about Bryan:

He Is Bilingual

According to Bryan's contestant biography on ABC.com, he speaks Spanish and English. "I've spoken Spanish since I was a child. Taught to me by my mom who speaks to me primarily in Spanish," he said.To prove it, Bryan showed off these skills when Rachel and her suitors visited Ellen for a group date back in March.

He May Be Conceited?

Bryan definitely knows how to stand out from the crowd of suitors and it even got the attention of Entertainment Weekly. In the article introducing Rachel's 31 suitors, Samantha Highfill wrote, "When asked for his three best attributes, HE LISTED EIGHT. No one is going to love this one as much as he loves himself."

At its core, The Bachelorette is a competition for love. Is Bryan playing the game correctly, or will he be the villain of Season 13 because he's more there for himself than for Rachel?

He Isn't Very Active On Social Media

Aside from a Facebook page and a Linkedin account, Bryan isn't very active on social media. Naturally, all reality show contestants have to go dark while filming, but it doesn't look as though Bryan has updated his pages for awhile. Maybe his newfound fame on The Bachelorette will encourage Bryan to join social media?

He May Be The One To Watch This Season

On the same episode of Ellen, Bryan decided to kiss-and-tell with the audience. Rachel mentioned that she had kissed one of the contestants, which prompted Bryan to spill the beans. He seemed a little eager though...

Bryan seemingly shifts from Bachelorette contestant looking for love to a calculating reality star with ease, and it's hard to pin him to one role. With Season 13 on the horizon, it is only a matter of time before Bryan's true intentions are revealed.
