Where To Meet People IRL This Weekend, Based on Your Sign

We’re constantly fascinated by what our zodiac sign says about our lives, whether it's which signs are most compatible or how each sign handles conflict in relationships. That's why Bustle has enlisted Mecca Woods, a New York City-based astrologer of MyLifeCreated.com, to tell us all about how astrology is affecting our lives each week. This week's topic: where to meet people IRL this weekend during Bustle's App-less April.

If you're looking for love IRL this weekend and participating in Bustle's App-less April, a challenge to delete your dating apps for a month and focus on offline dating, the universe has got you covered. Not only is Venus, the planet of love and relationships, finally moving forward again (retrograde no more!), but the Moon is in happy-go-lucky Sagittarius for most of the weekend which should keep the energy and spirits high. I mean, who wants to go on a *dull* date?

Anyway, while Saturday and Sunday are both great for getting out and meeting other single peeps, there are a few cosmic hiccups to watch out for. The first one happens on Saturday morning, when the Moon squares off with dreamy Neptune in Pisces, which could have us seeing others as we want them to be and not as they are, which means we'll have to get by on intuition. The second snag happens on Sunday afternoon when the Sagittarius Moon squares off with Venus in Pisces. Under this combination, we may be faced with the realization that what we want may not be what we need when it comes to love, which could be disappointing. However, a meetup between the Moon and Saturn in Sagittarius could help us find the bounce-back and clarity we need to move forward.

"The weekend ends on a high-note, especially if you're looking for romance and substance."

By Sunday evening the Moon enters into commitment-oriented Capricorn, which could be helpful for those of you that may be looking for something long-term. With the Moon meeting up with confident Mars in Taurus and romantic Venus in Pisces, the weekend ends on a high-note, especially if you're looking for romance and substance.

Travel could bring love this weekend, whether you're overseas or headed somewhere more local which means your fun-loving, daring spirit should attract more than your share of admirers. Meanwhile, for those of you in school, something could be heating up with a fellow student. Have fun!

Love comes this weekend when you dare to do something adventurous. Perhaps it may mean meeting someone at a sex workshop or while traveling to somewhere new. While those options may seem wildly different, the point is that you do something different. If you're feeling shy, bring a friend.

Could things be heating up with someone you work closely with? The signs seem to point to yes. If that's the case, you're not alone as many couples have met at work. Even if dating someone you work with isn't an option, you still have a chance at love. Your magnetism will be reeling them in.

Love has a quirky way of happening sometimes and this weekend may be no different. You could bump into your future lover while on your way to or from the doctor or maybe you'll hit them accidentally in kickboxing class. The point is you won't be necessarily looking for love, but it may still find you.

Call up your girls this weekend and hit the town as the club (comedy or dancing) could be where it's at when it comes to meeting someone new. Basically it's about being in you're element now so go for spots that represent that. By the end of the weekend, love comes by way of self-care.

A gathering or party at the home of a friend or relative might spark love for you, which means if you get an invite this weekend make it your business to go. Near the end of the weekend, romance could also be sweet at a concert, show, or another venue where people go out to have fun. Get to flirting!

People tend to love you for your wit and charm, so why not show it off at a class, lecture, book signing, film screening, or anywhere else where the other smart, cool kids hang? Your next romance could be waiting for you, so head out and chat someone up. Grab a wingwoman if you need a little push.

Grab your wallet and hit the shops this weekend, because your next date could be in the line behind you. If shopping ain't your thing, don't fret because you've still got a shot. Hanging with friends could bring you a step closer to love while visiting a neighborhood spot could also get things popping.

While your mission is to focus on you this weekend, that doesn't mean you can't make space for love. As you're running your errands this weekend, like a trip to the bank or grocery store, keep it cute and casual because you could meet a bae en route. Home Depot might not disappoint either.

Since it's all about rest and relaxation for you this weekend, look to meet others doing the same. A yoga class, weekend retreat, or art class could be the bees knees. Plus, as a Capricorn, you're best when in you're in a low-key, no muss, no fuss setting. All you have to do is be you and allow the rest to unfold.

Tina Gong/Bustle

You're one of the biggest humanitarians of the zodiac which means you jump at the opportunity to give back. This weekend should be no different as volunteering for a great cause is a great way to meet someone who shares your interests.

While Saturday may have you busy with work, there's a possibility you could meet someone new through work or a work-related event. Though Sunday is where things really get cooking for you. A friend or someone you know could introduce you to someone promising. This weekend isn't for staying home!
