If you're in a long-term relationship, it's totally normal for you to have a bit of a routine when it comes to your sex life. Between your work schedules, hobbies, and social time, you and your partner. probably tend to have sex at roughly the same times each week. So what are the most popular times to have sex for couples? According to a recent survey of 2,000 people by UK beauty retailer Superdrug, the ~sexiest~ day of the week (aka when most people like to get it on) is Saturday — which isn't all that surprising, considering it's both a weekend day and a typical date night.

Although there's nothing wrong with good old-fashioned Saturday night sex, switching up your standard sex routine and getting intimate with your partner at less popular times — like weekday mornings, for example — can be a simple way to help take your sex life to the next level. "Start setting the alarm a bit earlier and cuddle and caress each other and make love," relationship coach and psychic medium Cindi Sansone-Braff, author of Why Good People Can't Leave Bad Relationships, tells Bustle. "It starts the day on a high note, and reinforces to the two of you that your relationship is the most important thing in your lives."

Whether you want to find a new go-to sex time or if you're just curious how your sex life compares to others', here are the top 10 most popular times to have sex, according to the survey.

1Sunday, 9 a.m.

Whoa — who knew so many people were early birds when it comes to sex?! You might want to brush your teeth to combat your morning breath first, but these couples have the right idea: a lazy Sunday morning is the perfect time for a slow, sensual, foreplay-focused romp in the sheets.

2Saturday, 10:30 p.m.

It's no surprise that Saturday night is a popular time to have sex: after a night out (or a night in, if that's your thing), it's awesome to wind down and relax with your partner by having some passionate sex.

3Saturday, 11:30 p.m.

For those of you who can somehow stay up this late (man, I'm getting old), 11:30 p.m. on Saturday could be prime sexy time.

4Friday, 10:30 p.m.

There's nothing better after a long and stressful work week than coming home to your partner and indulging in some late-night cuddles and sex.

5Saturday, 10:30 a.m.

I'm happy that lots of couples are doing it in the a.m., because if you ask me, morning sex is seriously underrated. Why wouldn't you want to start your day off with an orgasm?!

6Saturday, 11:30 a.m.

Why go to brunch when you can have breakfast (and dessert, wink wink) in bed?

7Friday, 10:30 a.m.

Apparently, a lot of people are doing Fifth Harmony's version of "working from home" on Friday mornings and honestly, I'm a little jealous.

8Saturday, 11:15 p.m.

If 11:30 p.m. on Saturday is a little too late for you and your partner, you can always compromise by starting 15 minutes earlier.

9Saturday, 9:30 p.m.

Finally, some confirmation that I'm not the only one with an embarrassingly early weekend bedtime!

10Sunday, 9:30 p.m.

Without a doubt, the best way to end your weekend is with a (literal) bang.

Ultimately, it doesn't really matter what day or time you like to have sex, as long as it works for you and your partner. If you're feeling stuck in a sexual rut, though, it might be worthwhile to try switching up when you have sex — it's a simple adjustment that could be just what you need to hit refresh on your love life.
