The most wonderful time of the year is finally here! No, not Christmas in July, but Amazon Prime Day. I'm talking a full 30 hours of deals on everything from tech and homeware to fashion and beauty. When's the big day, you ask? Well, the answer is a bit complicated. With pre-event deals and one major event, here's everything you need to know about Amazon Prime Day 2017.
If you're not familiar with Prime Day, let me break it down for you. Amazon holds a 30 hours long sale with new deals rolling out every five minutes, and, according to the press release, there will be hundred of thousands of deals. The items range from small household items to TVs and other tech items. Although the exact deals are kept under-wraps until they're released, it's guaranteed that there will be something for everyone.
As far as when the event starts, you have a few shopping options. The Pre-Prime Day sale starts on July 10 at 9 p.m. ET, but the third-annual event officially kicks off on July 11. There will also be exclusive sales every day leading up to the big day. Basically, you should just bookmark Amazon now, because you won't want to miss out on a thing.
If you don't already have Amazon Prime, you have until July 11 to sign up to get in on the event. Although you can participate even with the free trial, one year of Amazon Prime costs $99. You'll get free two-day shipping for the entire year as well as the inside deals that the brand offers.
While you'll get amazing deals for just being a member, there are other ways to save money as well. According to the press release, there will be even more Alexa-exclusive deals for members that shop with an Amazon Echo, Echo Dot, Echo Show, Amazon Tap, compatible Fire TV or Fire tablet.
