Here's Your First Look At Kat Von D's New Cathedral-Inspired Saint & Sinner Palette

by Amy Sciarretto

"This palette is going to be my next go-to," proclaims makeup maven Kat Von D in the video introducing her latest masterpiece. The Kat Von D Beauty Saint & Sinner palette is a No. 1 stunner, especially thanks to the packaging, which was inspired by cathedrals overseas. Sunlight reflecting through the stained-glass windows is what provided inspo for the color spectrum inside.

I'm completely and totally shook right now — and Kat Von D-evotees are sharing my excitement.

While Kat Von D Beauty's hero products are the Lock-It Full Coverage Foundations and immovable Everlasting Liquid Lipsticks, the brand is right up there with Too Faced and Urban Decay when it comes to eyeshadow palettes. KVD releases limited edition collections frequently, and the product and packaging are always to die for.

The Saint & Sinner Palette is limited edition, arriving on Sept. 19 via the KVD Beauty site. It will set you back by $62. I don't think I am alone here when I declare, "Take my money, please!"

The palette features a 24 pans of shadow, ranging from yellow to blue to black to neutrals. So you can customize so many different eye looks when using this palette.

Who else let out an audible gasp when KVD cracked open the palette to reveal the shade range under the hood.

That detail, though. It really does like the doors or windows of a cathedral. To my eyes, it also looks like a pope's hat.

Kat said in her Instagram Q&A video on YouTube that she came up with the idea for the palette packaging before she thought about the formulation and colors. It's amazing to hear her talk about how her creative brain works.

OK, I G2G make a reminder in my iPhone to shop the Saint & Sinner palette in 18 days. Bye.
