The Weeknd and model Bella Hadid called it quits back in Novemeber 2016 due to conflicting schedules, according to People. By January 2017, TMZ caught Gomez and The Weeknd spotted out and about on a couple of PDA-filled dates. However, in the world of social media, no relationship status is official until its confirmed online.

The pair traveled the world together — from Italy to Brazil — while The Weeknd toured. Gomez strategically dodged relationship questions from Vogue in the process. Yet, the Disney alum finally uploaded a photo in the arms of her boo on Instagram in April. Just days later, the couple made their red carpet debut at the Met Gala in New York City, and the entertainment world has been transfixed ever since. Gomez told Vogue in April that after her highly public relationship with Justin Bieber, she won't talk as openly about her future loves. "Look, I love what I do, and I'm aware of how lucky I am, but — how can I say this without sounding weird? I just really can't wait for people to forget about me."
