Matt's Been Busy After 'The Bachelorette'

I know what you must be thinking: There’s a Bachelorette contestant named Matt? Yes, it’s true, and somehow he’s cracked his way into the top six despite fans not really getting to know him at all. Still, I think it’s OK to guess at that this point that Matt probably doesn’t win The Bachelorette considering that fans pretty much know nothing about him and the show is almost to hometown dates. And, what Matt has been doing after The Bachelorette may hint further at his relationship status post show. Or, it will at least give a little insight into who he even is. All fans know about him right now is that on the first night he showed up in a penguin suit. I think that may be one of the last times he spoke. I honestly couldn’t even tell you what his voice sounds like.

According to his Bachelorette Bio, Matt is a 32-year-old construction sales rep. He says if he could be anyone else for the day, he would be Matt Lauer. Very interesting choice, but OK. He’s been a basketball coach for 10 years and also works with inner city kids in his free time. He doesn’t online date and wishes he had telepathy because “it would make dating so much easier.” It would make me more self-conscious, but you do you. To be honest, Matt sounds like a completely normal dude. I bet he will find a woman to settle down with sooner rather than later, if this whole Rachel thing doesn't work out. But until then, let’s check out what he’s been doing since the show ended.
