This Lipstick Line Is Literally Inspired By All Your Favorite Mythical Creatures

The cosmetics industry is basically trend central. From squiggly brows to the most highlighted glow imaginable, beauty definitely changes and adapts based on what's in and what's out. Now, a brand is majorly capitalizing on one of these trends. Too Faced's new Tears line is taking the unicorn and mermaid trends and making them all their own. While the brand may be known for their incredibly well selling Unicorn Tears lipstick, they're branching out in a big way, and from the looks of it, the new goodies are going to be bomb.

How do fans know about the new Tears lip products, though? Too Faced co-founder and chief creative officer Jerrod Blandino took to his Instagram account to tease the new lipsticks. With over 24,000 likes on the image, clearly fans are excited for the upcoming launch. Little, however, is known about the lippies.

While Too Faced fans will already know what the iconic Unicorn Tears lipstick looks like, the three new additions are total — yet exciting — mysteries. Joining Unicorn Tears are Mermaid Tears, Fairy Tears, and Angel Tears. Blandino didn't swatch the new lip colors, but he did reveal their release date. Unfortunately, fans will have to hang on to their mystical dreams until the Spring 2018 season to get their hands on the collection.

One thing fans may be able to surmise, however, is the price point. The Unicorn Tears lipstick is already for sale on the Too Faced website and retails for $22. An increase seems highly unlikely from the brand, so fans can probably place bets on the new lippies retailing for the same price.

The real question, however, is whether or not Too Faced will be selling the lipsticks in a bundle. After all, they've got a clear theme, and who doesn't want all four? Especially if purchasing them in a bundle results in a discount...

As for the formulas, Mermaid, Fairy, and Angel Tears seem to be the same as that of the original Unicorn Tears, but Too Faced could eventually branch out. After all, Unicorn Tears also comes in a Melted Latex Formula.

If the brand is expanding the original lipstick — and releasing a whole Unicorn themed kit for the holidays — who is to say that more whimsical beauty won't be coming from the brand?
