Cardi B's Leg Tattoo Might Not Be What You Think It Is

If anyone looks good on the red carpet and on stage, it's Cardi B. The recording artist walked the red (well, blue) carpet at the 2017 VMAs in a gorgeous flowing white jumpsuit, then performed on stage in a glittery bodysuit that proved — once again — that she really can do it all. But once she shed her carpet look for that incredible stage outfit, it was hard not to notice Cardi B's amazing leg tattoo.

While performing her hit Bodak Yellow, we were able to see some of Cardi B's ink. But what stood about the most was the piece of art on her thigh — even though it was kind of tough to see it perfectly when watching on TV or online. So, what is it, exactly? Well, after closer inspection and some digging, I was able to discern that Cardi's ink is a peacock tail.

Peeking out from her diamond bodice, and just above her glittery thigh-high boots, you can see the green feathers sort of wrapping around her leg. And if you have a scroll through her Instagram, you'll see many a pic that shows off the ink in all it's glory — as well as her six other tats.

See it there, on the left? The ink suits the performer so well.

Her performance was amazing, as always.

And that shining bodysuit was the best.

If anything can show off tattoos, it's this look.
