The beauty world has seen more than its fair share of temporary trends. From squiggle brows to unicorn themes, there's a lot to keep track of. But a beauty trend that will not die is Instagrammable masks — and the new Too Faced Glitter Mask is keeping the trend alive.
What makes a mask Instagram-worthy? Simply take a glance at the GLAMGLOW GRAVITYMUD mask as an example. The bright silver peel-off mask basically makes you look like you're from another planet, and the Sonic the Hedge version of it is basically going to turn you into Willy Wonka's Violet Beauregarde.
Now, TooFaced's pink glitter mask will be joining these other viral sensations because who doesn't love the color pink and glitter? Okay, so a lot of people don't love pink and glitter, but for those who do, this mask is about to be all over their Instagram accounts.
On Monday, Too Faced founder Jerrod Blandino took to his own Instagram to showcase new details about the upcoming product. Inside a small, sample jar, fans caught their first glimpse of a sparkling pink piece of skincare perfection.
While Blandino has previously teased the mask, the color was unknown — until now. As for what benefits the mask will bring — other than prime selfies — Blandino hashtagged the image with #RadianceBoosting. Really, though, what other benefit would be more perfect for a glitter mask?
As for a release date, there has been no word. Everything about the mask, besides its gorgeous sparkle, is pretty mysterious.
He teased a black and white version of the mask's sample less than a week ago.
A few weeks ago, he even showcased what it will look like on the skin and revealed that it features a peel-off design.
Because you can never have enough glitter, fans are already getting excited about the mask, and it hasn't even been given a release date yet.
No matter your masking preferences, if you love glitter, pink, and all things pretty, the Too Faced Glitter Mask is going to be your new must-have.
