The 'Jersey Shore' Stars Reunited & Things Got Lit
Can you believe it's been almost five years since the last episode of Jersey Shore aired in 2012? I know, it feels like just yesterday we were watching as the stars argued over who got to use the smoosh room. Well, it seems as though members of the cast still keep in touch, as a number of the Jersey Shore stars reunited over the weekend for Sammi "Sweetheart" Giancola's birthday party. The group worked it like pros on the dance floor, according to Us Weekly, and proved to the world that being 30 doesn't mean you're too old to party like you're in your early 20s.
Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, Jenni "JWoww" Farley, Deena Cortese, and Vinny Guadagnino all turned up to Beautique, a club in New York City, on Saturday March 11, to celebrate Giancola's 30th birthday. JWoww's husband, Roger Mathews, and Deena's fiancé, Christopher Buckner, were also in attendance.
During the party, Polizzi took to Snapchat to show how that although they've grown up a bit, the Jersey Shore stars still know how to have a good time. "Hot messes," Polizzi wrote on one photo, "nothing's changed." There is one thing that's definitely changed though, Snapchat wasn't around back when Jersey Shore was on the air, and seeing Polizzi's snaps from Giancola's party totally makes me wish it had been. Imagine being able to see all of those intoxicated shenanigans in real time!
Apparently there was even a personalized Snapchat filter for the event, according to Us Weekly. How cool is that? Who wouldn't want to to have a custom Snapchat filter for their next birthday party?
But Polizzi wasn't the only one sharing to social media during the party. Farley also posted this video to Instagram of herself and Polizzi getting their grove on:
Later in the evening Farley shared another pic with her fellow former cast mates, along with a caption that read, "And I'm wasted #goodnight". Fun times!
Cortese also shared a pic with a couple of her cast mates on Twitter:
It certainly seems like a good time was had by all. And though they appeared to have fun partying like they were in their early 20s at Giancola's birthday party, Polizzi shared a hard truth about partying when you're no longer college aged to Snapchat the next morning. "My head is pounding," she wrote on Snapchat, "someone end me please." Why do hangovers seem so much worse in your 30s than they were in your 20s? Ah, the joys of getting old!
