This Harry Potter Quiz From PBteen Will Help You Style Your Common Room

by K.W. Colyard
Warner Bros.

To the joy of witches and wizards everywhere, PBteen recently released a Harry Potter home-decor collection, complete with a Marauder's Map Pillow and all of the Hogwarts housewares you could want. If you're overwhelmed by the new collection, don't worry. PBteen's Harry Potter quiz will help you pick just the right decor for your common room.

Now, I think it's only fair that I give you this warning: You may not like your result from this Harry Potter quiz. PBteen's selector only includes four Harry Potter characters — the Golden Trio and Luna Lovegood — so if you're totally a Neville, a Draco, or a Hagrid, I'm sorry to say that this is not the quiz for you.

(As a Slytherin with lots of Hufflepuff friends, I'm also a little bit salty that no characters from either of those Hogwarts houses made PBteen's cut, but that's neither here nor there.)

Even so, the quiz is fun to take, and you can complete it in around a minute if you read quickly and have a speedy Internet connection. After finding out which character PBteen's Harry Potter quiz thinks you are, you can click through to shop their collection with the knowledge that, deep down inside, you're truly a Harry, Ron, Hermione, or Luna. Unfortunately, PBteen did not include curated lists of the housewares that those four Harry Potter characters would enjoy, so you'll have to use some imagination as you browse.

It's also worthwhile to note that, unless you've got a bank account like Harry's, you probably won't be able to afford all of the items you want. The pieces in PBteen's Harry Potter collection vary in price, from $19.50 for this gilded, flameless wax candle to $599 for this 8' x 10' vintage-looking rug. So, while it's likely that you'll be able to find something you want that is within your price range, you should also probably prepare yourself for the utter disappointment of knowing that your bank account just can't handle that $399 Mirror of Erised jewelry cabinet right now.

As a final warning, if you do want something from the PBteen Harry Potter collection, you should order it as soon as possible. Similarly bookish catalogs, like last year's Roald Dahl-inspired children's clothing line, sold out before many news outlets were able to spread the word about their awesomeness. Given the fact that these Harry Potter home goods have received so much attention in the last 48 hours, you should expect those "Out of Stock" signs to start appearing any minute now.
