You Have To See BECCA Cosmetics' Highlighter Tip

The holidays are in full swing, which means so is the makeup. Everything from red lips to glowing skin is in season, and one brand has some expert tips for you. BECCA Cosmetics' gave an Instagram highlight tutorial, but you won't believe how they used it. After seeing this pro-tip, you'll never look at your highlighter the same again.

This year has been the year of the highlight. There's been powder, liquid, and stick form and tons of different shades. Forget everything that you knew about the trendy products though, because BECCA is using it in a brand new way. Trust me when I say that you'll want to pull this one out for the holidays too.

Apparently this shimmer isn't just for the cheeks. BECCA's Instagram tutorial uses the highlighter as eyeshadow. Not just any shadow look though — eye strobing. Basically, they put their powder highlighter on the center of the eyes, under the brow bone, and on the inner corners of the cheeks.

You have to see this tip to believe it. The look is so incredibly simple to do, but give the most gorgeous effect to the eye. In my opinion, it's the perfect way to make any holiday look a little bit more glam.

I told you it was simple! The company used the Shimmering Skin Perfector in Moonstone for the tutorial. You could easily recreate the look with any highlighter that you have on hand though. Just imagine how glowy your eyes would look if they have used Champagne Pop!

The tip is a part of their 12 Days Of Shimmer series that they're doing on Instagram for the holidays. This is one of their first tips though. Up until now, they'v been sharing different glow-y stocking stuffers and sharing which highlight and blush pairings go perfectly with each other.

I don't know about you, but I'll definitely be trying this tip out this season. I wish every makeup brand gave out awesome tips like this for the holiday!
