This ‘Pump Rules’ Cast Photo Will Make You Want To Revisit Season 1

File this under: Dispatches from the Pump Rules off-season. Last week, the Sexy Unique Stars of Vanderpump Rules went to Playa del Carmen, and lo and behold, the cast documented the ex-SUR-sion extensively on Instagram. (Aaaand since we're in the thick of Pump Rules filming season, it's probably safe to assume it'll be documented on Season 6, too.) Here’s what can be gleaned from the photo set: The entire main cast went to Mexico — including former cast member Lala Kent; Stassi Schroeder, Katie Maloney, and Kristen Doute now appear to be on friendly terms with their longtime enemy, Kent; and Peter Madrigal’s beautiful ponytail is still nowhere to be found.

However, there was one picture in particular that really spoke to this Pump Rules diehard’s Sexy Unique Soul, and that was the picture of the original Pump Rules cast standing in front of a restaurant called Sur Steakhouse. Just a handful of years ago, we first met this ragtag group of SURvers, fell in love with them, and watched them blossom into the reality television icons that they are today. Six seasons later, and Schroeder, Maloney, Doute, Scheana Marie, Tom Schwartz, Tom Sandoval, Jax Taylor, and Peter Madrigal are still part of this thing. And what a wonderful thing it is.

A lot has happened since were first introduced to those eight Pumpers: One member of the original lineup left the show for a short while, several ancillary characters came and went, and significant others were folded into the mix until they became main players. Relationships, alliances, job titles, hairstyles, and marital statuses have shifted, but the first eight planets to orbit SUR keep on spinning in the same solar system. Schroeder, Maloney, Doute, Scheana Marie, Schwartz, Sandoval, Taylor, and Madrigal are Sexy Unique Constants in this ever-changing universe.

Of course, SUR has welcomed other terrific and important planets into its solar system, but Schroeder, Maloney, Doute, Scheana Marie, Schwartz, Sandoval, Taylor, and Madrigal were the originals. And here they are, still together after all these years, tears, and beers.
