'KUWTK' Is Turning 10 This Year — Seriously

At this point in my life, it is difficult to imagine a time when the Kardashians weren't everywhere. Reality television's royal family is an ubiquitous part of pop culture, but at one point, they were just a family from Calabasas with tons of good looking members. Their lives, and many millions more, were changed when E! premiered Keeping Up With The Kardashians in October 2007 and it became a hit. While it's only April right now, the Kardashian family is kicking off KUWTK's 10th anniversary celebrations. Where has the time gone?

According to Just Jared, the Kardashian family was in Los Angeles filming an anniversary special on April 27 to commemorate their 10 years on television. (Bustle has reached out to E! for comment, but did not receive a response at the time of publication.) KUWTK actually premiered on October 14, 2007, but seeing as this is the television world, it wouldn't be a shock if they were filming this far in advance. You know, they need time to make those dramatic promos and tear-inducing montages to get fans all hyped up.

While the reported special would obviously not be out for a few more months, the social media savvy sisters and their friends took to Snapchat and Instagram to give fans look at their festivities. Pics from a photo booth say "10th Anniversary Celebration" in the upper left corner.

The family's long-time friend/hairstylist shared the most photos of the event on her Snapchat. Above, she posted a snap of the sisters posing. Next, she caught Kendall Jenner waiting around looking amazing and Khloé Kardashian having some delicious looking cake:

Kim Kardashian and Kendall both posted some of their photo booth shots with friends and family:

It is truly wild to see how famous this family has become since their show premiered. I don't think any one of us could have predicted that they would be where they are today. Kylie has a top selling makeup brand, Kendall is a supermodel, and well, Kim, Khloé, and Kourtney Kardashian are pretty much on a first name basis with the entire world.

I totally remember those early KUWTK episodes when they still mostly worked normal jobs and fought about normal, family things. Far gone are those days, but if their meteoric rise and evolution over the past 10 years says anything, this family is going to be around for a long time to come.
