The First 'Bachelor Winter Games' Cast Photos Are Dorky AF — In A Good Way
In just one month, arguably the greatest sporting event of this era will make its grand debut. ABC announced on Monday that The Bachelor Winter Games will premiere on Feb. 13, just a few days after the 2018 Winter Olympics kick off (supervising producer: Lindsay Liles). The network also confirmed the show's lineup, offering up a batch of gorgeous The Bachelor Winter Games cast photos that would look great in the Bachelor Mansion, which is more or less Bachelor Nation's version of Olympic Village.
The four-part Bachelor/ette spin-off will give 24 past Bachelor/ette hopefuls a chance to battle it out in various Olympics-inspired events, as well as present them with the opportunity to find love. As ABC promised in a press release, "Throughout the run of The Bachelor Winter Games, fans can expect twists and turns on and off the ski mountain, as well as romance, heartbreak, love and, of course, roses."
Warning: As you scroll through this gallery of photos, you may notice that a certain someone is missing. And that someone is Bachelorette favorite Peter Kraus. Sorry, Peter diehards, but it looks like the Season 13 runner-up is not on the Winter Games roster after all. Mike Fleiss really had viewers fooled: In October 2017, the Bachelor creator tweeted, “Yes, Peter will be looking for love-- and going for the gold-- on #TheBachelor Winter Games!!!!” But then, Peter went and rained on the frenzy parade when he told The Morning Breath show that he had not signed up to do Winter Games, adding, “I feel like [Fleiss] even said I was the Bachelor at one point, so I think he just likes to throw people off.”
With or without Peter, this roster really is something else. So many old friends are back, so many new friends are here. Behold The Bachelor Winter Games contestants.
