Figuring out what job you were born to do is far from easy. (I mean, understanding our life’s purpose is only the question that’s plagued humans for, like, millennia.) In fact, some may argue there is no single job anyone was “born to do.” But they probably didn’t click on the link about jobs you should have based on your zodiac sign, right?

The traits associated with each zodiac sign deal in broad generalizations, as horoscopes are wont to do. Like with Myers-Briggs personality types, the star sign you are associated with is not the be-all, end-all to who you are as a person. Being born a Virgo doesn’t require you to be a Type A perfectionist 24/7 just like leaning more introverted than extroverted doesn’t mean you must spend all your time cooped up under your covers crying with a book. Both personality tests and horoscopes seem to work best as a way to self-reflect. Something doesn’t ring true to you? Cool. Something rings a little too true? Even cooler. Use it as a way to better understand yourself and how you interact with the world around you.

Unfortunately, there is also no single scientific way to tell whether your current job path is right for you. However, there are tell-tale signs you should think about switching your career. Experts say things like operating on autopilot, not feeling supported, and your work not aligning with your goals are all indicators that it might be time to look at a new career.
