Bustle's Editors On Kylie Jenner + Government Shutdown

by Danielle Colin-Thome

Happy Monday everyone! We're just coming back from a busy weekend — there was a government shutdown, the 2018 Women's March, and singer Ed Sheeran got engaged. And, in case you were wondering, things haven't really slowed down. Today on the agenda, I'll be taking you through the latest Kylie Jenner baby update, some highlights from Sunday's SAG Awards, and more.

So let's get this party started! Here's everything you need to know about what went down today, Jan. 22:

Government + Shutdown

After three days, the government shutdown has ended. Senate Democrats agreed to fund the government for three weeks after Majority Leader Mitch McConnell promised to find a solution for DACA recipients in that time frame.

Creepy AF: If you're obsessed with the Dear David saga, you're going to absolutely freak out when you see this horrifying photo from a bachelorette party.

Olivia Munn + Anna Faris

So there have been rumors swirling around that Olivia Munn and Chris Pratt are dating, but the actress wasted no time shutting those down. Munn tweeted out a text message conversation she had with none other than Anna Faris (Chris Pratt's ex) about the matter, and swiftly dispelled any rumors that she was dating Pratt, or that there was bad blood between her and Faris.

Celeb Wedding News: Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner chose a fellow Game of Thrones actress to be her bridesmaid, and it's so so sweet.

SAG Awards + #MeToo

The #MeToo and Time's Up movements are nowhere close to losing momentum, especially on the awards circuit this year. The latest award show, the SAG Awards, happened on Sunday night, and several celebrities took this opportunity to talk about sexual harassment and inequality. Nicole Kidman gave a moving speech about ageism in Hollywood, and dozens of actors spoke out about the Time's Up initiative throughout the show.

Sexual Misconduct: Another noteworthy aspect of the SAG Awards was who wasn't in attendance. Aziz Ansari, who was accused of sexual misconduct last week, skipped the show and it was extremely awkward when his nomination was announced. James Franco, who was also accused of sexual misconduct, did actually show up to the event, but seemed relieved when he didn't win an award.

Kylie Jenner + Calvin Klein

The whole Kardashian-Jenner crew appeared in the latest Calvin Klein ad, but fans noticed one key detail that could prove that Kylie is 100% pregnant. While the four other sisters were in the front of the photo, fully displaying the brand's underwear, Kylie was towards the back, with her whole lower-half completely covered under a blanket. Highly suspicious, I say.

Shopping Break: If this week has already got you stressed, here are 25 genius products that'll totally help you chill out.

What to Watch: A new episode of The Bachelor premieres at 8 p.m. on ABC and it looks like this latest installment is going to be all about everyone's favorite contestant, Bekah.
