This Is When The New iPhone 8 Is Rumored To Be Released, So Get Excited
If you're an Apple geek like me, it probably seems like you've been waiting forever for the iPhone 8 to arrive. You had a hunch that the 10 year anniversary products would be a big deal, and you've been wondering when the iPhone 8 will be released for so long, it's hard to imagine that the date might finally be here soon. But, it's almost September. I have no idea where the summer went, but the crisp fall breeze and shiny new Apple products are close enough to taste.
While we usually have to wait until the September keynote to find out the date of new releases and get all the details to look forward to, a few rumors seem to be spelling it out early for us. On Thursday, the French technology blog Mac4Ever announced that by using information it gathered from French cell carriers whom it has connections with, it appears stores are planning to start taking pre-orders following the rumored Sept. 12 Apple keynote, most likely on Friday, Sept. 15. And if the rumors are true, the official sale could open the following week on Sept. 22.
Of course, this is just a rumor, but the dates seem to resemble past release dates with Apple. While Apple might be incredibly tightlipped about its new products and updates, it does have to corroborate with cell companies and marketing companies to ensure that when it does release the new product, it can flow smoothly to the public. So, it's plausible that a French carrier would know the release date and could have leaked it.
While only time (and Tim Cook) can tell when we'll be able to get our hands on the new iPhone 8, it looks like we may have just a few weeks left to wait. That being said, rumor also has it that the new iPhone will have a limited release and people might have to wait a while to get their hands on one after the initial bounty sells out. Either way, the new iPhone is rumored to have some pretty amazing features, so it's probably worth the wait.
